Choose a campsite in Calvados
One of the 72 campsites in Calvados named after the rocks off Arromanches-les-Bains.Main city of the region, Caen, "green city" with a maritime atmosphere has not finished charming tourists, offering superb monuments to visit, such as the memorial, the City of History for Peace or the various buildings dedicated to William the Conqueror.17 minutes from there, settle down as best you can at Camping Bois et Marais 4* (in Touffréville), a pretty high-end campsite overlooking the Caen plain, with a beautiful heated and covered swimming pool and a playground for children... You dream of discovering the medieval charming city of Bayeux, with its famous Bayeux tapestry and very close to the historic beaches and landing sites... You can safely pack your bags at the Queen Mathilde 3* (in Etreham) campsite, equipped with a heated swimming pool and games for children and offering many activities for the whole family.
Also close to the landing beaches, the Château de Martragny 4* (in Martragny) campsite invites you to stay in the heart of a haven of tranquility and greenery, sparc of a superb castle. From there, you will be at the gates of Lisieux and can admire the Sainte-Thérèse de Lisieux cathedral or visit the city's distilleries.
The surroundings of Vire, another flagship city, are a mosaic of green landscapes, revealing magnificent Normandy valleys and groves, meadows where the horses so beloved in the region graze, and small typical granite houses. Don't miss the castle of William the Conqueror, built in the nearby town of Falaise.
In Clécy, 30 minutes away, you will find the campsite Les Rochers des Parcs 3* nestled in a green setting and giving access to a river, for a holiday in the heart of nature. Beautiful hikes are possible in the surroundings of these 2 cities and in the natural sites of the region.
At the entrance to the Cerisy forest, you can stay at the beautiful Domaine de Litteau 4* (in Litteau) campsite, which has all the facilities necessary for a top-of-the-range campsite (aquatic area with slide, children's club, entertainment...) in a natural setting so relaxing.

Your campsite in the Channel
The Channel is an ideal setting for your holidays, a real gem for the eyes made of contrasting landscapes where moors, marshes, woods, cliffs, plains and beautiful green countryside are mixed together. There are 16 campsites in La Manche, home to the famous Mont Saint-Michel, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in France.

Going up the coast, visit Notre-Dame de Coutances Abbey before enjoying a well-deserved walk in the Cotentin and Bessin Marshes Regional Natural Park. You will find the 4* L'Etang des Haizes campsite in La Haye-du-Puits, where you will be like a pasha, with a beautiful swimming pool with a slide and a lake with direct access from the campsite, then you will reach Cherbourg and its unmissable sites, its Italian theatre and the quays and port of Chantereyne, which are regularly animated with events. Continuing your journey along the coast, do not miss the village of Barfleur, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, without walking around, and visit Valognes, a city of art and history not to be missed.
In the surrounding area, pack your bags at camping La Gallouette 3* in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, a charming family campsite with shaded grounds, swimming pool, entertainment and children's club, all this just 18 km from Valognes.

Magnificent campsites in Orne
Finally, you will find 15 campsites in Orne, if you have chosen to choose a temporary home for your holidays in this very wooded department (Andean forest, Ecouves...) and crossed pretty rivers, for the pleasure of sportsmen who can practice all possible and imaginable water activities (fishing, canoeing, rafting, canyoning...).The Normandy-Maine and Perche natural park will delight nature and hiking lovers, who will be at ease at the charming little campsite de la Rouvre in Meni-Hubert-sur-Orne, quite simple because it offers the bare minimum of pretty pitches and basic infrastructures (and a mountain bike rental service!), but nestled in a magnificent setting with a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature.

Don't forget to visit the beautiful city of Argentan, its church of Saint-Germain and the Maison de la Dentelle.
